لقد فهم السيد أوباما ما لم يفهمه بعض الحركيين المسلمين الأمريكان: الشرق استعاد حقه في زعامة الفكر التنويري انطلاقا من الإسلام؛ ولا يمكن له أن يقبل درسا آخر عدا ذلك الذي
يعنى بالعلم والتكنولوجيا، ولو كان عنوان هذا الدرس "الإسلام".

Mr. Obama understood what some American Muslim activists didn't: The Orient has recovered its right to be on the lead in terms of Islamic enlightenment; it can't be receiving one more lesson from the Occident besides the one on science and technology, even if the lesson is called "Islam" .

الإسلام دين "مُعولِم" بالأساس. ومن سوء حظ أسياد العولمة أنهم جاؤا قاصديننا على ميدان نحن أسياد العالم فيه، فلن نفرّط في ذرة واحدة من حرية المسلم أو نَذَرْها تتعَولَم.

Islam is by essence a globaliser, so how dare Globalisation Lords think that when they come and seek us where we are Lords, we are going to let a Muslim’s freedom get globalised?!

أميل اليوم إلى الاعتقاد أنّ الإسلام، في صورته الوافدة من أوروبا وأمريكا، قد تأثر بعظمة وشرّ غولٍ اسمه العولمة. والذين نجوا من عذاب هذا الغول هم الذين سيكونون دون غيرهم  قادرين على البحث أكثر عن الحرية الباطنية رغم كل الخسائر الحاصلة في البوتقة الخارجة عن النفس.

إنّ النجاة النهائية من الغول مفهمومٌ ذو وجهين: إن قصدت تفادي سماته التقنية فذلك أمر صعب المنال؛ وإن أنتَ قصدت تفادي قدرته الفائقة على تهميش التزام الناس، وعلى لفّ أرواحهم بشريط لاصق، عندئذ سأقول لك إنّ هذا هو المطلوب إنجازه من طرف  مسلمي أوروبا وأمريكا، لأنهم منبثقون من تربة مزروعة بالعولمة.

هنا يأتي دورمسلمي المنبت والأصل. فهُم الأكثر تأهيلا للتفاعل الإيجابي مع غول العولمة وفي نفس الوقت التحرر من هيمنته. وهم الذين لم يولدوا في بيئة مزروعة ببذور العولمة. وبذلك سيكونوا هم الأوائل في تنوير بقية العالم  حول أفضل المسالك للوصول إلى تحرير المدارك.

مهما يكن من أمر، فإنّ كل شيء مرتبط بمدى توفيق مسلمي المنبت والأصل في التفاعل مع الغول. في الواقع هنالك تفاعل وتفاعل؛ أنا معلّم الطرق التفاعلية، لذا أقدر التفريق بين طريقة وأخرى. يحدث التفاعل الجيّد لمّا تتفاعل بغرض نزع الكساء الإيديولوجي علن العولمة ثم البناء الفكري فوق أرضية نظيفة من أجل أجيال مستقبلية صحيحة الإسلام.

I now tend to think that Islam, as it is received in Europe and America, has undergone the might  and evil of a monster called globalisation. And only those who have spared themselves from the torments of this monster are capable of seeking inner freedom despite all the damage caused in the outer sphere.

Thorough escapade from the monster is a two-fold concept: If you meant escaping from its technicalities you're right that it is barely feasible; if you meant escaping from its mighty ability to  disengage people and to wrap up their souls with adhesive tape, then I can tell you this is what American & European Muslims have to accomplish, as they were born to a globalisation-sown field.

Here comes the role of mainstream Muslims. They are better qualified to help achieve this libertarian goal as they were not born to a globalization-sown soil. Thus, they will be pioneer in enlightening the rest of the world on how to reach freedoms of the mind.

In all, it all depends on how well mainstream Muslims can interact with the monster. Actually there is  interacting and interacting; I am a teacher of interactive methods and I can tell which is which. The right one is when you interact while you strip globalisation off  its ideological covering, and you build up on a clean area for the sake of genuinely Muslim future generations.
